Surprise Cookies
Surprise Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar, 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. rum extract and 1/2 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cream butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour, rum extract and nuts.
Mix until well blended.
Wrap a tablespoon of dough around each cherry. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 25 minutes.
Cool slightly. Roll in additional confectioners sugar and nuts, finely chopped.
