Super Strawberry Shortcake
Super Strawberry Shortcake is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/3 c. bisquick, 1/2 c. milk, 3 tbsp. sugar, 3 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted and 1 qt. strawberries, cut in half and sweetened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 425Β°.
Mix ingredients, except strawberries, until soft dough forms.
Spread in ungreased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inches. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for 10 minutes; cut into serving pieces.
Split each piece horizontally.
Fill and top each serving with strawberries.
Serve with whipped cream if desired.
