Sunday Biscuits
Sunday Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 tbsp. baking powder, 1/4 c. cooking oil and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 425Β°.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
(I always sift this mixture 3 times for a finer textured biscuit.)
Add oil and milk.
Knead dough 5 to 6 times. Roll out on a floured surface and cut with a round cutter.
Pour about 3 tablespoons oil in bottom of pan.
Put biscuits in pan, no room between them; bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve with butter and honey.
