Sun Gold Coconut Cake
Sun Gold Coconut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. butter, 4 eggs, 1 c. milk and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Beat butter and sugar to a smooth cream.
Stir in the well beaten egg yolks and beat until very light.
Sift dry ingredients together 3 times and add alternately with milk to first mixture. Add vanilla and carefully fold in egg whites which have been beaten to a stiff froth.
Bake in layers in a moderate oven (350Β°).
Put together with coconut cream icing.
Makes a large cake.
