Summer Squash Surprise
Summer Squash Surprise is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 14 minutes. Made with yellow summer squash, onion, diced, chicken soup, . sour cream and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Slice squash and cook with onion (just to crisp; drain, if necessary).
Mix chicken soup, sour cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Melt butter and pour over 1/2 package of dressing.
Save some to sprinkle on top.
Place dressing in bottom of casserole dish.
Add squash and onions.
Top with sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with reserved dressing and Parmesan cheese, if desired. Bake at 350Β° until hot through.
