Sugarless Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. margarine, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 5 large apples, peeled and sliced thin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 400Β°. Mix 2 tablespoons of the thawed apple juice concentrate with the cornstarch.
In a small saucepan, heat remaining concentrate.
Blend in cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.
Stir in margarine and cinnamon.
Pour thickened apple juice over apples; toss gently to coat.
Sprinkle lightly with salt, if desired.
Pour mixture into bottom of pie crust.
Cover with top crust.
Cut vents to allow steam to escape.
Brush top with milk or margarine.
Bake for 50 minutes or until done.
