With a wire whisk, stir together undiluted juice and mixture of cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
Heat to consistency of gravy. Pour over apples.
Mixture into prepared pie shell; dot with margarine.
Cover with top crust; cut slits in crust to allow steam to escape.
Sprinkle lightly with water and nutmeg to taste. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then at 350° for 30 more minutes.
