Mix cake mix, margarine and eggs.

Spread in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan (tin).

Mix to a smooth batter in a mixer. Cream cheese, powdered sugar and eggs.

Spread over the first layer.

Sprinkle generously with nutmeg.

Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.

Do not overbake.

Center will remain soft.

Cut into squares when cool.

Outside edges will seem crusty, so trim 1/4 inch all around pan and then cut into squares.

Crusty part makes yummy samples and my children always knew when to be there.
