Stir together the sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Add to the milk and oleo mixture.
Cook until bubbly and starts to thicken.
Cool and add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes. Serves 6 to 8 plus.
