Cream butter and add sugar gradually.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla and cream well.
Then add flour and baking powder sifted together.
Chill for 10 minutes.
Roll and cut into desired shape. Bake at 400Β° until very light brown.
May be frosted with granulated sugar, if desired or just left plain.
