Add eggs to first 4 ingredients.
Stir and blend flour, soda, cream of tartar, salt and vanilla.
Mix with butter and egg mixture.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes until light brown.
Do not overcook.
Let stand on cookie sheet a few minutes before removing.
