Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. shortening, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. powdered sugar and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream the shortening, margarine and sugars well.
Add beaten eggs and vanilla.
Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Chill dough about 30 minutes and then roll well rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls.
Dip each ball top into granulated sugar and flatten slightly on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 7 to 9 minutes in 375Β° oven until set.
Do not overbake.
Remove from cookie sheet and cool well before storing.
