Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour, 3/4 c. butter, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1 1/4 c. sugar and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat softened butter, sugar and egg in a large bowl at high speed for 3 minutes.
Blend in vanilla.
Stir in flour to make a stiff dough.
Wrap in wax paper and chill 3 hours or until firm. Roll dough one quarter at a time to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut cookies out with desired shapes and place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate as you wish.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
