Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 2 tbsp. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in milk.
Sift flour and salt.
Stir into creamed mixture, blending well.
Chill 1 hour.
Roll on floured surface to 1/4-inch thick. Cut into desired shapes.
Bake in moderate oven (375Β°) about 10 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet and let cool.
Makes 2 dozen medium cookies.
