Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 c. sour milk and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg, sour milk, soda, baking powder, nutmeg, salt and flour.
Roll and cut.
Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees (I bake mine at 300 degrees as my oven is very hot). Add currants or coconut to batter if desired.
I make mine plain.
