Sugar Cookie
Sugar Cookie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1 c. sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together.
Sift flour and all dry ingredients together.
Mix a little at a time, adding milk when mixture becomes dry.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 300Β° for about 10 minutes.
Do not brown.
Yields 3 dozen.
