Stuffed Peppers
Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground chuck, 1 c. chopped onions, 1 clove garlic, chopped, 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper and 1/4 tsp. texas pete, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook ground chuck, onions and garlic in a skillet until brown. Add soup and seasonings.
Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Add cheese and cook slowly until cheese melts.
Stir in bread crumbs. Cut peppers in half lengthwise.
Remove seeds.
Cook in boiling water with salt until tender, about 5 minutes.
Drain.
Place peppers on baking sheet.
Stuff with meat mixture.
