Stuffed Peppers
Stuffed Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 medium green peppers, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1/2 c. onion, chopped, 1 (8 oz.) can seasoned tomato sauce and 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Brown meat and onion until almost dry.
Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
Simmer until hot (about 5 minutes).
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Stir in rice.
Stuff peppers; sprinkle tops with bread crumbs.
Fill baking dish with 1/2 inch water.
Place peppers in dish; bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 40 minutes, or until hot through.
Serves 8.
