Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. large mushrooms, 8 oz. fresh crabmeat (for the rich, you can use lobster), 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. pepper and 2 tbsp. lemon juice or 1 fresh squeezed lemon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Wash Mushrooms thoroughly.
Separate the caps from the stems. Place caps upside down in serving dish.
Finely chop remaining stems; set aside.
Mix Crabmeat, Bread Crumbs, chopped Mushroom stems, Salt, Pepper, and Lemon Juice.
Use a melon scoop or teaspoon to scoop out stuffing.
Fill each cap.
Once all caps are filled place under broiler for up to 5 minutes or until stuffing browns.
If an electric stove the broiler setting would be high.
