Strudel Coffee Cake
Strudel Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. or cake yeast, 4 tbsp. sugar, 1 c. warm milk, 1 tsp. salt and 2 beaten eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk.
Mix all ingredients together
When double in bulk, divide into 2 parts.
Not too thin.
Rub melted oleo over the rolled dough.
Together the brown sugar, pecans and coconut.
Sprinkle 1/2 of the mixture over each 1/2 of rolled out dough.
Jelly roll.
Place on greased cookie sheet, let rise again.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.
When cool, drizzle with powdered sugar icing and garnish with cherry halves.
