Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry Shortcake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jell-o, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen and sliced strawberries, thawed, 1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. duncan hines strawberry cake mix, 1 c. miniature marshmallows and whipped cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine Jell-O and strawberries; set aside.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions, except use only 3/4 to 1 cup water instead of 1 1/3 cups as listed.
Scatter marshmallows on the bottom of a 12 x 9 x 2-inch pan; top with cake batter, covering all marshmallows well.
Spoon strawberry mixture over batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes or until cake tests done.
Let cool; cut into squares and serve with whipped cream.
