Strawberry Salad
Strawberry Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 large (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jell-o, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 c. cold water or water and juice to equal, 1 lb. frozen strawberries, thawed or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. and no. 2 can crushed pineapple (not drained, del monte is best), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add cold water.
Add the thawed strawberries and the undrained pineapple, then add the banana slices.
Pour half of this into a 9 x 13-inch dish; refrigerate until set well enough to spread the sour cream on top. Add the remaining half of the Jell-O mixture carefully, so that it remains on top.
Continue to refrigerate until well set.
