Strawberry Puffs
Strawberry Puffs is an easy dinner. Made with 12 to 24 small to medium fresh strawberries, 1 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. nutmeg, 2 cans hungry jack flaky biscuits or puff pastry (3 x 3 squares) and 1 c. powdered sugar (for dusting), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Wash and cap strawberries (if large, cut in half).
Roll each berry in sugar and nutmeg mixture.
Separate each biscuit in half.
Seal each berry in biscuit, sealed side on bottom, point side up.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes in 350Β° oven or until light brown on top. (Note: Grease or spray pan or dish before placing in.) Remove from oven; let cool 5 minutes.
Transfer to serving platter; dust with powdered sugar.
Great finger dessert for teas, showers or get togethers.
