Strawberry Pie
Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell, approximately 1 qt. fresh strawberries, 1 1/2 c. water, 3/4 c. sugar and 2 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add water and bring to boil.
Boil about 2 minutes more, until thick and clear.
Add the strawberry gelatin.
Stir until melted.
Cool slightly, but while still hot, pour over berries arranged in pie shell.
Be sure to cover all berries.
Garnish with whipped topping, if desired.
