Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pints strawberries halved, 1 c sugar, 3 tbsp cornstarch, 1 c water and 3 tbsp strawberry gelatin mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Place strawberries in a large bowl and set aside. Mix sugar, cornstarch and water in sauce pan.
Cook until thickened, remove from heat, stir in gelatin until dissolved.
Pour over berries, mix well. Pour into pie shell, refrigerate until set.
Top with whipped cream if desired.
