Strawberry Pie
Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, pinch of salt, 3/4 c. water and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Add water gradually, stirring until smooth.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thick.
Reduce heat; cook 2 or 3 minutes longer, until clear and transparent.
Remove from heat; add lemon juice and drop of red food coloring.
Fold in sliced strawberries.
Pour in baked and cooled pie shell.
Top with Cool Whip; chill.
