Strawberry Jello Cake
Strawberry Jello Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 white cake mix, 1 box whip 'n chill or jell-o soft swirl (strawberry), 1 small box strawberry jell-o and 2 envelopes dream whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Bake cake according to package instructions in flat pan.
After cake is baked, poke holes in it with a toothpick.
Before cake cools, dissolve Jell-O in 1/2 cup hot water.
Add 3/4 cup cold water.
Pour evenly over top of cake.
Allow to cool at least 1 hour.
Mix Whip 'n Chill according to box instructions.
Pour immediately over Jell-O treated cake.
Allow to cool until set.
If desired, a layer of fresh strawberries can be added.
Finally, top cake with Dream Whip.
Refrigerate until served.
