Strawberry Delight
Strawberry Delight is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. melted margarine, 1/2 c. chopped pecans and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen thawed strawberries, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine flour, brown sugar, pecans and butter.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes in 9-inch pan, stirring often.
Let cool.
Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and egg whites.
Beat at high speed with mixer, about 20 minutes or when fluffy.
Fold whipped cream in strawberries.
Remove 1/3 of crumb mixture from pan.
Pat remaining crumbs into smooth layer.
Pour strawberry mixture over crumbs in pan and sprinkle reserved crumbs over the top.
Freeze. Remove from freezer a few minutes before serving.
