Strawberry Cake Dessert
Strawberry Cake Dessert is an easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 (12 oz.) can strawberry soda pop, 3 - 4 c. frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed and 1 large tub of cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Pour soda pop into yellow cake mix.
(Do not add anything else!)
Mix it up and pour into sheet cake pan.
Preheat oven and cook cake according to directions on box.
(Do not open door during cooking or cake will fall!)
When cake is done, let it cool completely through and through.
After cake has cooled, pour 3 - 4 cups of sweetened strawberries on top of the cake.
Top with cool whip at room temperature so it will spread better.
Chill in the refrigerator.
