Strawberry Bread
Strawberry Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Butter and flour 2 (9 x 5-inch) loaf pans.
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, baking soda and baking powder in a large bowl; mix well.
In a separate bowl, blend oil and eggs into strawberries; add to flour mixture.
Stir in nuts, blending until dry ingredients are just moistened.
Divide batter between pans. Bake in a 350Β° oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
Let cool in pans on rack for 10 minutes.
Turn loaves out; cool completely.
Makes 2 loaves.
