Strawberry Bread
Strawberry Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, 4 eggs, 1 1/4 c. oil, 3 c. self-rising flour and 3 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Thaw berries.
Mix undrained berries, eggs and oil.
Sift dry ingredients into strawberry mixture, reserving about 1/2 cup flour to sprinkle over nuts.
Blend thoroughly.
Add flour to nuts, coating well.
Add to batter.
Pour into 2 well-greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
If top browns too quickly, cover with tent-shaped aluminum foil.
Yield: 2 loaves.
