Strawberry Angel Dessert
Strawberry Angel Dessert is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin, 2 c. boiling water, 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, 2 c. whipping cream, whipped or dream whip and 1 large angel food cake (10-inch size), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
Chill until slightly congealed.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Drain and reserve 1 cup juice from berries.
Fold in strawberries and whipped cream.
Rub off brown crumbs from angel cake; tear into pieces.
Put in large bowl and fold in strawberry cream mixture.
Spread in jelly roll pan.
Let set until firm.
Lightly frost with whipped cream. Drizzle with glaze.
