Stratta
Stratta is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices toasted bread without crusts, 2 1/2 c. diced ham, cooked sausage, cooked chicken, browned hamburger or leftover cubed small pot roast, 1 1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated, 5 eggs, beaten well and 1 c. cream of celery, mushroom or broccoli soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Line a
9-inch greased baking pan with toasted bread. Layer diced meat on bottom, veggies, cheese and onion soup. Pour soup/milk mixture over all and top with toasted bread shapes cut cookie cutter.
Cover with foil and let set overnight refrigerator.
bake the next day just before guests arrive.
Serve with a tossed salad.
