Stove Top Baked Beans
Stove Top Baked Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 64 oz. can van camp's pork and beans, drained, 1 lb. bacon, 3/4 c. dark brown sugar, 1 c. chopped onions and 1/2 c. catsup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Drain beans; reserve liquid. Cook bacon until crisp.
Remove enough grease to make 1/2 cup.
Add onions and cook until tender. Add brown sugar, catsup and mustard. Stir until well mixed. Add beans.
Cook until boiling. Turn flame down. Simmer 10 minutes. Crumble bacon and add.
Simmer another 10 minutes. Stir to prevent sticking. If sauce is too dry, add some juice that was drained off beans.
