Sticky Buns
Sticky Buns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed, 3/4 stick butter, 1/2 pkg. butterscotch pudding mix (not instant), 1/4 c. chopped pecans and 2 to 4 tbsp. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grease an angel food cake pan with shortening.
Put nuts and raisins in bottom of pan.
Cut dough lengthwise in half.
Cut each half into 6 pieces.
Arrange in pan, then sprinkle with butterscotch pudding and cinnamon.
In saucepan, mix the melted butter, sugar and brown sugar.
Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and pour over dough.
Cover pan with a cloth and let rise overnight (about 8 hours).
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and let set 2 to 3 minutes.
Invert pan on plate and serve. Preparation time
20 minutes.
