Starlight Mint Surprise Cookies
Starlight Mint Surprise Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 3/4 c. margarine or butter, softened, 2 eggs and 2 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar, margarine, eggs, water and vanilla; mix well.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Stir in flour, soda and salt; mix well.
Chill dough at least 2 hours.
Heat oven to 375°.
Enclose each wafer completely in about 1 tablespoon of dough.
Place inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Top each with nut half.
Bake at 375° for 7 to 9 minutes until light golden brown.
Yields 5 dozen cookies.
