Starlight Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 c. crisco shortening, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Mix sugar, eggs, shortening and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Add flour and milk alternately, mixing until smooth.
Pour into pan and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
