Stained Glass Cookies
Stained Glass Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 4 tbsp. butter, 1 egg, 3 tbsp. milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream the butter and sugar.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
In another bowl, beat the milk, eggs and vanilla together.
Add the flour mixture alternating with the milk mixture to the butter and sugar beating well after each addition. The dough should be easy to handle; if not, chill it for 1 hour. Give your child some dough. Roll it into skinny snakes.
Bend each snake into a design on a foil covered cookie sheet and pinch the ends together. Sprinkle a thin layer of the crushed candy into the enclosed space.
Make sure the ends are sealed so melted candy won't leak out. Bake at 375Β° for 9 minutes.
Allow to cool and peel off the foil.
