St. John Banana Bread

Butter sugar.
Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in sifted dry ingredients.
Beat in mashed bananas.
Add nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes.
While cake is still warm, pour melted butter over top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Makes 1 loaf.
