Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 medium yellow squash, 1 chopped onion, 1/2 c. fine bread or cracker crumbs, 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cook squash and onion in a small amount of salted water until tender; drain.
Add bread or cracker crumbs (reserving 1 tablespoon for top), cheese, egg, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons margarine.
Spoon into greased casserole.
Top with remaining crumbs; dot with 2 tablespoons margarine.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 minutes or until brown.
