Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. yellow squash, cooked, salt and pepper to taste, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 egg, beaten and 1/2 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix all ingredients except crumbs and pecans; pour in a buttered dish.
Bake 20 minutes in a 375Β° oven.
Remove from oven and top with crumbs and nuts.
Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
May also be doubled, if so, use a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
You may substitute the following for low calorie
Egg Beaters, low fat cheese, margarine for butter, plain yogurt for mayonnaise and artificial sweetener.
