Cut each squash in remove seeds and fibers; pare squash and cut into 1/2-inch slices.
Stir together brown sugar, butter, flour, salt
In an ungreased baking dish (11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch), place squash, then apples. Top with sugar mixture.
Cover with foil.
