Spritz Cookies
Spritz Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, softened, 2/3 c. sugar, 3 egg whites, 1 tsp. flavoring (almond or vanilla) or you may use 1/4 c. grated almonds and 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix all ingredients, except flour, together thoroughly.
Work the flour into the mixture with your hands.
Fill a cookie press with cup of the dough at a time.
Form cookies onto an ungreased baking sheet in the form of an S, rosettes, bars or other desired shapes.
Bake at 400Β° until set, but not brown, for about 7 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen.
