Stir meal into 2 cups milk; let come to a boil, stirring constantly, making a mush.
Add balance of milk, well beaten egg, salt, baking powder and butter, melted.
Turn at once into a quart size, well-greased glass baking dish.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for about 32 minutes, or until done.
Serves 6.
