Spoon Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cornmeal, 3 c. milk, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. butter and 3 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Scald milk.
Gradually add cornmeal and stir until mushy. Allow mixture to cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
Add salt, butter, beaten egg yolks and sugar.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into greased pan or spoon mixture by the spoonfuls into hot grease.
