Split Levels
Split Levels is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, . cream cheese, c. evaporated milk, . sesame seeds or chopped walnuts and c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate, cream cheese and milk on high for approx. 3 minutes.
Add seeds, stir and set aside.
In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, butter, egg and almond extract.
Spread and press 1/2 of this mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 9 inch pan.
Spread chocolate mixture on top. Sprinkle remaining dry mixture on top of chocolate.
Bake at 375Β° for 20 - 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
