Spinach Roll
Spinach Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. bread dough (fresh or frozen), 1 (10 oz.) pkg. fresh spinach, remove stems and tear into small pieces, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/4 c. grated romano or parmesan cheese and 2 cloves chopped garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Roll out dough in a large circle.
Place spinach over dough. Sprinkle both cheeses, garlic, salt and pepper over spinach. Drizzle oil over spinach.
Roll like a jelly roll.
Fold ends under.
Brush dough with beaten egg.
Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 400Β° oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Filling can also be sliced pepperoni and Mozzarella cheese.
