Spinach and Rice Casserole
Spinach And Rice Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. sliced mushrooms, 1 tbsp. oil and 3 tbsp. wheat or white flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Defrost spinach.
Saute onions and mushrooms in oil.
Combine with flour, cottage cheese, egg whites, egg substitute, uncooked spinach, cooked rice and seasonings.
Pat into a shallow 9 x 12-inch baking dish and top with sesame seed and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until bubbling hot.
