Spicy Apple Cake
Spicy Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. raisins, 1 c. pecan halves, 2 large eggs, 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Peel, core and dice apples (3 cups).
In a small bowl, soak raisins in bourbon or juice for 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 400°. Grease and flour a 10-inch spring-form pan.
Spread 1 cup of pecans on a cookie sheet.
Bake 5 minutes or until fragrant and toasted.
Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 375°.
Chop pecans coarsely.
