Spiced Tea
Spiced Tea is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. boiling water, 5 tbsp. tea, 2 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. ground cloves and 1/2 tsp. ground allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Steep the 5 tablespoons tea in 2 cups of the boiling water for 4 minutes.
Add the remainder of boiling water to the sugar and spices (best put in spice bag).
Stir until dissolved.
Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer; do not boil.
Keeps well in the refrigerator.
Makes 1 gallon.
